Job summary

Centennial Post Acute in Anchorage, AK is hiring for a full-time role in a busy kitchen. You will set up and clean meal trays, assist with meal service, monitor dishwasher temperature and sanitizer levels, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers’ Certificate.
• Ability to work in cooperation and harmony with personnel in all departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean meal trays; strip returned trays and operate dishwasher.
• Assist with meal service, snacks, and resident nourishments.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitizer levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Sweep, mop, take out trash, and clean work surfaces and equipment.
• Unpack and store groceries in an organized and safe manner.
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.
