• Deliver items to patient care units and patients as necessary.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food cart(s) to patient care units.
• Return carts to kitchen as designated times.
• Load and oversee dishwashers; wash items by hand (pots, pans, knives).
• Dispose of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.
• Mop floors and clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts and nourishments.
• Cross-train in housekeeping as assigned.
