Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, Ohio is seeking a Dietary Worker to join as a direct employee (not contracted). Roles include dining service, basic kitchen support, and daily cleaning within a compassionate senior living community. Work is full-time or part-time during days or evenings, with no late hours.

Must be at least 16 years old; customer service is preferred, and prior food service is a plus but not required. Onsite presence is required.

Responsibilities

• Dining room service, including serving residents and delivering/picking up trays
• Performing cleaning tasks per schedule: trash disposal, dishwashing, sweeping and mopping floors
• Assisting in kitchen tasks: food prep, labeling/dating items, operating equipment, handling chemicals and cleaning supplies
• Other duties as assigned
