Qualifications

• Patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines with dietary utensils and equipment.
• Assist the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and policy.
• Follow cleaning schedules and duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Report supplies/equipment needs and any damages.
• Follow infection control and HIPAA policies; support safe environment.
