Job summary

Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. Full-Time AM/PM and Part-Time AM shifts available. You will help with daily meal preparation and ensure safe, sanitary food service in accordance with OBRA and regulatory expectations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, resident confidentiality, and contributing to a caring care environment. Competitive starting wage and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safe dietary procedures and geriatric care.
• Willingness to work in residents' best interest.
• Ability to work as part of a team with other departments.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Some dietary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items following recipes and menus.
• Assist with setup and delivery of meals.
• Stock management on delivery days.
• Wash and store pots, pans, dishes and utensils; sweep and mop floors.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and protect privacy.
• Keep dietary work areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
