Job summary

Citadel Healthcare in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents by serving meals and assisting with dietary department routines. You will set up trays, help with cleaning tasks, and ensure-sanitation standards are met in a fast-paced setting.

Experience with industrial dishwashers and in long-term care is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is optional. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow sanitation process and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Sweeps and mops floors as directed.
• Washes and cleans utensils as directed.
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.
• All other duties as assigned.
