Chatham-Hills-Subacute-Care-Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and snacks in our long-term care setting. You will assemble diet trays, label foods, deliver carts, and help maintain a clean kitchen. Experience in LTC is preferred but not required. We value tact, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and offer daily pay options to our staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and check diet trays prior to distribution to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect dishes after meals.
• Work in dish room and wash dishes/utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep kitchen clean; sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage removal.
