Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines and assist with meal plating while maintaining a clean, safe dining area.

This role offers hands-on training, ongoing support, and career development opportunities. You will work with a friendly team, deliver quality resident service, and help uphold sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Residency within service area may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
