Civita Care Center at Newington is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support our residents with meals and dining services. You will help prepare meals, maintain a clean dining environment, and assist with supplies and storage while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good writing/record-keeping and ability to follow written/spoken instructions in English.
• Professional communication with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing meals and snacks.
• Keep dining areas clean and welcoming.
• Receive, rotate, and store supplies and food.
• Maintain clean and safe storage/work areas.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are in good condition.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
• Interact with residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Report any safety or food-handling issues to supervisor.
