Your Role at White Oak!As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you'll have the opportunity to work in both positions, helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, delicious meals and exceptional service. When Working as a Cook:Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals according to established menus and recipes.Follow resident dietary restrictions and special diet requirements.Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food-handling practices.Assist with meal planning, preparation, and portion control.Keep food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitary.Work alongside dietary team members to ensure meals are ready and served on time.️ When Working as a Dietary Aide:Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving.Prepare meal trays according to resident preferences and dietary needs.Deliver and distribute meals in a friendly, professional manner.Assist with cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas.Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.Support the dietary team in keeping meal service running smoothly.One position.
