Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is hiring dietary aides and cooks for full-time roles in State College, PA. Shifts include 12pm–8pm and 6am–2pm, with PRN options for additional coverage.

Primary duties involve food prep, serving, tray setup, and ensuring a clean kitchen and dining area for residents. Responsibilities include assisting with diet considerations, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the dietary team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and modified diets.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with shift coverage for call-outs, vacations, or staffing needs.
• Ensure meals meet state and federal guidelines for skilled nursing facilities.
• Follow therapeutic and modified diets, including low-sodium, diabetic, and pureed diets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Monitor food temperatures, storage procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to support daily operations.
