Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Food Service Worker to join our Dietary department, working full-time 40 hours per week, from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the salad bar as needed.
• Maintain an adequate supply of beverages.
• Ensure the cafeteria and dining areas are clean at all times.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies.
• Operate the dish machine.
• Assist the cook as required.
• Stock kitchen necessities on each floor as needed.
• Follow menus and recipes accurately.
• Bend, stoop, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Basic knowledge of food service sanitation required. Prior experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting, is required. HS diploma or GED is required. This is a non-exempt hourly position.

Preferred certification: SERV SAFE food handler or ability to obtain it. Drug testing and background checks are part of the hiring process.
