Job summary

Peninsula Post-Acute in Burlingame, CA is hiring a Dietary Aide to support meals and resident care. This full-time and part-time role covers morning and evening shifts, with pay between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour and opportunities for rewards, training, and growth in a supportive team environment.

You will assist with meal prep, tray accuracy, diet orders, and sanitation, helping maintain a clean, welcoming dining area for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals and snacks according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Check meal trays for menu accuracy, diet orders, preferences, and nutritional requirements.
• Prepare food according to established recipes and proper consistency requirements for mechanical soft and pureed diets.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining areas following meal service.
• Ensure dishes, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and organized.
• Follow all dietary safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support the dietary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
