Job summary

Cedars Assisted Living in Lake Balboa, CA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team. You will assist in dietary functions and ensure meals are served on time and at the correct temperature.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Food Safety/Sanitation course, and flexibility to work weekends or additional shifts as needed. We offer a family culture and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course.
• Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts and in other positions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
• Serve meals that are tasteful and appetizing in appearance, ensuring delivery on time and at proper temperature.
• Be detail-oriented and follow tray cards to ensure accurate meal orders for every resident.
