Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility.

You will assist with food preparation, ensure dietary needs and portion sizes are met, and maintain clean working and dining areas. A positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, and basic food-safety knowledge (ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law) are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification in ServSafe or Food Handler may be required by state/county.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
