Job summary

Broadway Care & Rehab Center seeks a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will prepare and deliver meals, maintain clean trays, and assist with special diets to support residents' wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
• 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Covid vaccination is required.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Deliver items to resident care units or residents as requested.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food carts to patient care units and return carts to kitchen.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log temperatures.
• Wash specified items by hand (pots, pans, knives).
• Dispose of trash and garbage properly.
• Put clean dishes and utensils away.
• Mop floors as scheduled; clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments.
• Maintain good working relationships within the department and with other departments.
