Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with food prep, ensure meals meet dietary requirements, and maintain clean dining areas while providing friendly, patient service.

The position emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and respectful resident interactions, with training and opportunities to pursue certifications where required by state policy. Residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service/kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift up to 30 lb and push/pull up to 50 lb; stand/sit/bend for long periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks around food and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering good service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
