Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and delivery, ensuring patients receive nutritious meals that meet dietary needs. You will collaborate with Dietitians and kitchen staff to communicate allergies or restrictions and maintain safety standards throughout the shift.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, compassionate patient interaction, and adherence to hospital and senior living food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• ServSafe training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, meal service under supervision.
• Deliver dishes, trays to patients at designated times/rooms.
• Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety standards.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform duties as needed.
• Provide customer service during nutrition delivery.
