Job summary

Clinton Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated dietary staff member to assist with meal preparation, service, and daily dining room setup for residents in a long-term care setting.

You will follow federal, state, and facility policies, maintain sanitation standards, and support the cook with meal production and serving, while adhering to established par levels and schedules. You will also participate in ongoing trainings to ensure quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow Federal, State and local long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Set dining rooms for resident service.
• Serve meals.
• Stock pantry and cupboards with dishware and food items as per par levels.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor.
