Job summary

The Shores of Worthington is seeking a PRN/Casual Dietary Aide to join our care team in Minnesota. The role focuses on preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring meals meet dietary needs and resident preferences.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, good reading of dietary instructions, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent resident service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow dietary instructions and menus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to menus and dietary restrictions.
• Set up dining areas and clean up after meals.
• Deliver food trays and assist during meal times.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
