Job summary

The Lake Bennet Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents by preparing meals, delivering dietary services, and assisting the Dietitian/Manager in maintaining safe, nutritious food service operations.

Required is a high school diploma with preferred prior dietary aide experience. Reliable transportation is needed. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment in Ocoee, FL.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Previous dietary aide experience preferred; training in cost control or diet therapy is a plus.
Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver meals to residents and assist kitchen staff.
Review and update department policies to stay current with protocols.
Interpret policies to residents, families, and staff as needed.
Prepare snacks and beverages following approved procedures.
Maintain food safety and hygiene at all times.
Take inventory of kitchen supplies.
Set up and clean dining areas and assist with kitchen maintenance.
Assist with nutrition education programs.
