Job summary

The Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality food service to residents and staff while maintaining a safe, clean dining environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, and prior kitchen experience preferred. You must be dependable, adaptable, and able to work weekends on alternate Saturdays and Sundays.

• Prior industrial/commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Dependable, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work hours include alternate Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all dietary functions in accordance with policies and procedures, and to ensure quality food service is provided to all residents and staff.
• Set up trays and/or place settings according to care planned diets and individual meal tickets.
• Assist with meal set-up at meal time according to the diet card, considering food preferences and consistencies to meet each resident's individual dietary needs.
• Stock the cafe with supplies as directed by supervisor.
• Perform related tasks as assigned.
