Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the dietary team in Rockford, IL. You will serve residents' meals, prepare dining areas, and assist in meal preparation while following established sanitation standards.

The role requires English literacy and the ability to work quickly in a busy kitchen. Prior long-term care exposure is a plus, with benefits including competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must read/write/speak English.
• Able to read/understand resident tray cards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn to operate an industrial dishwasher within one week.
• Follow sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals following portion control procedures.
• Assist with cleaning duties per policies.
• Clean tables, refrigerators/freezers, and equipment.
• Set up meal trays and dining areas as instructed.
• Assist cook with meal prep and supply gathering.
• All other duties as assigned.
