Independence Village of Midland is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support resident meals in a caring senior living community. Shifts are 6am-2pm or 4pm-8pm, with responsibilities including food preparation, portioning, and ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines.

You will work closely with kitchen staff, maintain cleanliness, and follow sanitation policies while delivering friendly service to residents, families, and staff.

Competenze

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage meal service for residents.
• Experience in food service and strong communication skills are required.

Mansioni

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and staff.
• Plate food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Ensure proper portioning and garnishing as directed.
• Assist kitchen staff and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepared and communicated shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Stock and clean stations for next shift.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation for meal service.
