Job summary

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support daily dining services. You will assist with salad bar preparation, beverage stocking, and maintaining clean dining areas.

The role also covers food preparation and delivery of meals and supplies, dish machine operation, and assisting the cook as needed. Responsibilities include stocking on each floor and ensuring sanitary food service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in food service and basic knowledge of food service sanitation preferred.
• Food Handlers Certificate or enrollment in certification program within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing the salad bar.
• Maintain an adequate supply of beverages.
• Ensure cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of consumer meals and supplies.
• Operate the dish machine.
• Assist the cook as required.
• Stock kitchen necessities on each floor as required.
