Responsibilities

JOB TITLE: Dietary Aide (630 AM to 630 PM) (Three days a week including every other weekend)

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our patients' nutritional requirements are taken care of.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The Dietary Aide takes patient meal orders.
  2. Delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area.
  3. Collects trays and disposes of garbage and trash appropriately.
  4. Replenishes floor stock with food and nutrition items.
  5. Assembles required portions for patient meals, ensuring high-quality food served at appropriate temperatures.
  6. Assists in the assembly of all flatware and kitchenware.
  7. Ensures proper rotation during restocking floor stock.
  8. Responsible for setup, breakdown, and sanitation of all patient tray line equipment and serving areas, ensuring high-quality food served at appropriate temperatures.
  9. Performs computer-related activities as required.
  10. Possesses knowledge of patient diets sufficient to serve meals accurately.
