Responsibilities

JOB TITLE: Dietary Aide (6:30 AM to 6:30 PM) (Three days a week including every other weekend)

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our patients' nutritional requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patient meal orders
  • Deliver carts to the correct floor or patient area
  • Collect trays and dispose of garbage and trash appropriately
  • Replenish floor stock with food and nutrition items
  • Assemble required portions for patient meals, ensuring high-quality food served at appropriate temperatures
  • Assist in assembling all flatware and kitchenware
  • Ensure proper rotation during restocking of floor stock
  • Set up, break down, and sanitize all patient tray line equipment and serving areas, ensuring high-quality food at proper temperatures
  • Perform computer-related activities as required
  • Have knowledge of patient diets to serve meals accurately
