The center offers acute and residential treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults, with a structured, supportive environment. Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta (LCCA) is seeking to hire exceptional Dietary Aides.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving food for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Assisting the dietary manager and supporting patients.
• Following food safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, receiving and stocking supplies, and preventing food contamination by proper storage.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months of previous experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dietary aide
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions
• Skilled in operating cooking appliances and utensils
• Friendly personality with good communication skills
• Physical stamina and good condition
• Food certification is preferred
• Familiarity with clinical diets
• Experience in healthcare food service is a bonus

• Ability to read recipes
• Ability to stand long periods and lift heavy objects
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training
• ServSafe “Food Handler” certification within 90 days of hire
