Job summary

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable Dietary Aides for both full-time and part-time roles on the 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. afternoon shift.

You will support residents with daily meals, assist with plating, and help maintain dining room cleanliness in a senior living healthcare setting. Ideal applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in quantity food preparation or food service is preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and plating of meals and snacks for residents.
• Serve food and beverages and assist residents during mealtimes in the dining room.
• Work in the dish room as requested, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Assist Cooks with basic food preparation and portioning as needed.

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable full-time and part-time Dietary Aides for our 11pm. – 7:00 pm afternoon shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare and senior living environment, supporting residents with their daily nutrition and dining experience.

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide

• Assist with preparation and plating of meals and snacks for residents.

• Serve food and beverages and/or assist residents during mealtimes in the dining room.

• Work in the dish room as requested, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

• Assist Cooks with basic food preparation and portioning as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in quantity food preparation or food service preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus).

Schedule and Job Type

• 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. afternoon shift also has 3pm-7pm available

• Full-time and part-time positions available.

• Weekend and holiday rotations as required by the facility schedule.
