Responsibilities

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment.
• Carry soiled utensils to wash area and remove food trays from carts or dining rooms.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas and serve meals in the dining room.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and assist in serving meals on time.
• Distribute and collect menus and set up meal trays and dining areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established facility policies and procedures
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area
• Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc., and take to dishwashing area
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas
• Serve food in dining room
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc.
• Assist in serving meals on a timely basis
• Distribute and collect menus
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Return clean utensils to proper storage areas
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and events
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established facility policies
• Follow established infection prevention and control policies and procedures when completing daily tasks
• Always follow safety regulations and precautions

Job Qualifications
