Job summary

Ridgeview Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join the long-term care unit of our skilled nursing facility. Our team delivers compassionate care to residents, with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness in daily operations.

Responsibilities include meal service, food tray preparation, and maintaining orderly dining areas. We offer medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus time off and other benefits to support staff and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year’s work in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cleaning and sanitation per facility policies.
• Carry soiled utensils to wash area and remove food trays to dishwashing.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas; serve meals in dining room.
• Prepare and deliver snacks; assist in serving meals on time.
• Distribute and collect menus; set up meal trays and dining areas.
• Return clean utensils to storage; assist in checking diet trays before distribution.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals/events; dispose of waste per policy.
• Follow infection prevention policies and safety regulations at all times.
