Fairmount Homes, Inc. in Ephrata, PA seeks a friendly Dietary Aide for 32 hours/week. The role supports Dining Services, assisting cooks, delivering meals, keeping kitchens clean, and ensuring residents receive meals per their diets.

Shifts are 6:00am-2:00pm and 11:00am-7:00pm, includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. Starting pay is $18.30–$19.80/hour with $1 extra/hour in evenings. Benefits include PTO, medical and dental/vision coverage, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals for residents.
• Deliver hot foods, cold foods, and beverages to designated service areas.
• Assist cooks with portioning and preparing cold food items.
• Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies.
• Work collaboratively with nursing team during meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all work areas.
• Check, record, and report refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
• Assist with dishwashing and handling of inventory as needed.
