Job summary

Focus Health Network is seeking a Dietary Aide for our long-term care facility in Watsontown, PA. The role involves portioning and serving meals, delivering trays, and supporting the dining operations to ensure high-quality resident care.

Shifts are flexible, including 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 4:00 PM–8:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed. A high school diploma or GED and good English skills are required to support residents and colleagues in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Portion and serve food items to residents.
• Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.
• Work on tray line and in dish room and pot sink.
• Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Dietary Aide Salary: $14.50 per hour

Dietary Aide Shifts: Flexible, as needed. 6AM - 2:30PM, 4PM- 8:30PM Shifts, Weekends, Holidays.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities And Duties

• Portioning and serving of food items
• Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
• Working on tray line. Working in the dish room and pot sink
• Sweeping and mopping. Disposal of trash and recyclables
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
