Job summary

Yona Solutions in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support residents with warm, friendly hospitality and safe, clean dining service. You will assist in meal preparation under the supervision of a dietary manager, set up dining areas, deliver meals, and help with inventory and menu planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Able to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Good communication skills and friendly demeanor.
• Physical stamina for dining room and kitchen tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas, collect dishes and dispose of waste.
• Sanitize and clean food stations, utensils and equipment.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with expenses tracking and menu planning.
• Support in maintaining kitchen equipment.
