Woodland Post-Acute in Woodland, CA, is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in all food functions under established policies. You will support the Dietician and Cook, help prepare meals, and ensure meals are served promptly and attractively.

No prior experience is required as we provide training; a positive, professional attitude is valued. This on-site role offers benefits for full-time staff and opportunities to grow within the team.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Dietician / Dietary Management and Cook as requested
• Helping with meal preparation in accordance with the dietary needs of the residents
• Assisting in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Timely setting up of meal service and delivery of meal trays and food carts
• Following the established portion controls recommended
• Adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up
• Keeping worktables clean, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Dishwashing and cleaning of utensils
• Returning clean dishes and utensils to the proper storage areas
• Carrying out garbage
• Disposing of food and waste per facility regulations
• Obtaining food supplies for the next meal
• Following safety regulations and precautions at all times
• Reporting any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately
• Adhering to all facility policies and procedures of the facility
• Maintaining confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information
