Qualifications

• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.

• Maintain cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and cooking meals according to menus and recipes.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, and portioning food.
• Prepare and serve meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Follow special diet instructions, meal plans, and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on time.
• Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen items.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation, kitchen, and dining areas.
• Maintain accurate food temperature and sanitation records.
• Follow all facility safety and infection control policies.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents during meal service.

Your Role:

• Assist with preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and recipes

• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, and portioning food

• Prepare and serve meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences

• Follow special diet instructions, meal plans, and portion guidelines

• Ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on time

• Assist with plating meals and preparing food trays for residents

• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines

• Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen items

• Clean and sanitize food preparation, kitchen, and dining areas

• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment and utensils

• Maintain accurate food temperature, serving, and sanitation records

• Follow all facility, safety, sanitation, and infection control policies

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents during meal service

• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of our residents’ nutrition and well-being

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous cooking, food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
