Job summary

Harmony West Des Moines is seeking a Diet Aide to join our care team. You will assist residents in achieving nutritional and medical goals by providing nutrition services, assessing and documenting nutritional status, offering counseling, and coordinating with the on-site dietitian on high-risk cases.

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony West Des Moines by providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, identifying and providing nutritional counselling to meet the cultural needs of our residents, working with the on-site dietitian for high-risk cases and writing dietary orders. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

One (1) year of experience as a Dietary Aide is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
