Job summary

Lanessa Extended Care in Webster, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. You will assist with resident meals, follow diet cards, and ensure food quality and safety.

We offer both full-time and part-time openings on day and evening shifts, with weekly pay at $18 per hour and a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the dining service areas.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

• Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages
• Deliver meals on a timely basis
• Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes
• Adhere to daily nourishment list and stock nourishment stations

• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure
• Perform other duties assigned by the dining director
