Job summary

Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Fairmont, WV is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to assist with meal prep, serving, and creating a positive dining experience for residents.

You will help stock and clean the kitchen, follow safety guidelines, and work with the dietary team to ensure meals meet dietary requirements and are delivered on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving.
• Prepare and deliver meals and snacks according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist residents with a pleasant and positive dining experience.
• Stock food, supplies, and kitchen items.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Follow all state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure residents receive meals safely, accurately, and on time.
