Job summary

Putnam Ridge in Brewster, NY seeks a Part-Time Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents. Work 3pm-7:30pm, with weekend 11:30am-7:30pm possible. Must be 18+, must read and speak English. No prior experience required; tuition reimbursement offered.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Prepare dishes and trays at designated times
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

NEW RATE: Putnam Ridge is a beautiful skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility conveniently located in Brewster, NY. We are looking for a Dietary Aide to work Part Time 3pm-7:30pm, with possibility of working a 11:30am-7:30pm on the weekends, to prepare and serve food to residents. You will prepare dishes and ensure good sanitary condition in cooking and dining premises. The Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare dishes following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. Must be 18 years old, competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. Candidates must be able to read and speak English. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. Experience is helpful but not necessary.
