Job summary

Chestnut Park Nursing Home in Oneonta, NY is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and delivery, support resident dining areas, and help maintain a clean kitchen.

Shifts include Day and Evening, alternating weekends and holidays; on-the-job training provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K, and uniform shirts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 1 year of long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Delivering trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
• Assembling resident meal trays. Working in the dish room and pot sink
• Sweeping and mopping. Disposal of trash and recyclables
• Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
