Job summary

Alliance Health at Baldwinville is seeking a per diem Dietary Aide to join our nursing facility team and assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents. You will deliver dishes and ensure sanitary conditions in cooking and dining areas while following safety standards and established instructions.

Responsibilities include meal setup, preparation under supervision, delivering trays, cleaning dining areas, stocking ingredients, and assisting with inventory and menu planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide (will train if no experience)
• Customer service experience is appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Able to prepare meals according to instructions
• Physically capable with good stamina

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Alliance Health at Baldwinville is a 94-bed skilled nursing facility with an opportunity for a per diem Dietary Aide to join our team. We are looking for a Dietary Aide to assist in the preparation and serving of high quality and nutritious meals for residents in our facility. You will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary condition in cooking and dining premises. As a Dietary Aide you must be capable of performing food service duties and following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. You must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.
