Description

Join our Dietary department to develop a passion for food service while assisting our residents with one of the most valued components of their day. Christ the King Manor is seeking full-time and part-time positions for day and evening shifts. This opportunity is ideal for students seeking after-school work!

Shifts Available:

5:45 am - 2:15 pm

11:00 am - 7:00 pm

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Great for students after school!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with food preparation, including main courses, salads, desserts, and special diets under the guidance of the Cook.
• Preparing trays according to menus; serving and delivering food to designated locations.
• Setting up tables and dietary areas for meals; clearing tables in the dining room.
• Preparing snacks and nourishing items; transporting nourishment carts.
• Serving meals in the main dining room.
• Setting up and operating dishwashing equipment; cleaning dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining and kitchen areas.
• Performing cleaning duties and ensuring all areas are neat, sanitary, and safe.

No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform all essential functions of the role.
• Genuine interest in enhancing residents' dining experience.
• Strong customer service skills; positive interactions with residents and staff.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, stand, and move for long periods.
