Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal trays and service in a warm, home-like setting. The role supports the cook, ensures trays are appetizing, and upholds sanitation standards.

Requirements include a High school diploma and a Food Handlers Card; English proficiency is essential. Weekend availability is required for both part-time and full-time positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.
• Preferred: Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Aid the cook in preparing trays that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Ensure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray.
• Review tray cards to ensure current food information matches served items.
• Follow posted cleaning schedule using proper sanitation and cleaning methods.
• Follow infection control and safety measures.
• Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager.

Pay Range: $17.13-$19 DOE

Part Time & Full Time: Must be available weekends

Responsibilities

• Aid the cook in preparing trays that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Ensure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray
• Review of tray card to assure that current food information is consistent with food served
• Follow posted cleaning schedule utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Follow infection control and safety measures
• Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager
