Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) is seeking dietary staff to support meal preparation and tray service. Positions are available part-time and full-time with weekend requirements, offering pay between $17.13 and $19 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting the cook, maintaining sanitation, and following infection control protocols. Benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and speaking English.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Pay Range: $17.13-$19 DOE

Part Time & Full Time: Must be available weekends

Responsibilities:

• Aid the cook in preparing trays that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Ensure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray
• Review of tray card to assure that current food information is consistent with food served
• Follow posted cleaning schedule utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Follow infection control and safety measures
• Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Food Handlers Card
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
• Preferred: Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility
