Job summary

Valley Village Care Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide in North Hollywood. You will assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements and portion controls.

The role requires following menus and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment, while adhering to food safety guidelines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, good reading skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Valley Village Care Center, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing top-notch medical services and personalized attention to individuals who require specialized nursing and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and cooking
• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control
• Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule
