Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with preparing the salad bar, stocking beverages, maintaining a clean cafeteria and dining area, and delivering patient meals and supplies. You will operate the dish machine, support the cook, and stock kitchen necessities across floors.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and PRN opportunities, with benefits and a supportive team environment.

• May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established guidelines for sanitation and safety.
• Obtain the tray count by unit for each breakfast, lunch and dinner meal. Assist the cook in preparing each meal tray.
• Set up the salad bar and prepare vegetables, salads and other salad bar items in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Set up dessert bar.
• Ensure the salad bar displays an attractive and tasteful appearance.
• Wash dishes and maintain the dish room area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Primary Responsibilities

• Comply with established guidelines for sanitation and safety

• Set up dessert bar.

• Utilize portion control guidelines when preparing food.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation area at all times.

Education/Experience: Must have prior experience in food service, and have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation.

Compensation

This is a Full-Time role, and the expected compensation range is $13.50 to $15.00/hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. PRN positions are Available. Join us as our Dietary Aide!
