• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, setting up trays, serving regular meals, preparing snack items and food requests for special events.
• Deliver meals and snacks, ensuring dietary guidelines and individual resident meal orders are followed.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions, ensure food quality and temperature, and wash dishes.
• Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies; provide warm and friendly service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE

As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, setting up trays, serving regular meals, preparing snack items and food requests for special events. You deliver a high level of customer service by distributing food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meal orders. You ensure food quality and temperature, deliver and retrieve trays by the end of meal dining time, and wash dishes. You maintain safety and sanitary conditions by picking up food and trash, cleaning tables, chairs, and other food service equipment and utensils. You comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies. Your warm and friendly demeanor helps build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues, making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIETARY AIDE
