Avalon Health & Rehab Center in Mount Vernon, NY, invites you to join our dietary team in a skilled nursing setting. Help provide comfort, care, and connection through every meal served to our residents, with on-site flexibility and supportive coworkers.

The role is part-time with a wage of $15.00 per hour, days or evenings, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes daily pay options, PTO, health/dental/vision coverage, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible staff.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Shift and Wage:
