Evergreen Healthcare Group's Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, OR is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are a team-oriented facility that prides itself on culinary excellence as part of our enhanced dining program.

Qualifications

• Food handlers' permit required.
• Demonstrates high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays including utensils, napkins, condiments.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at proper time and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the department.

Job Summary:

Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required:Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
